Letters to My Spiritual Master, Kalindi La Gourasana

Letters to Kalindi from 1997-1998

As one of her disciples, I wrote to Kalindi every single day between 1997-1998. Those letters were compiled and copies were sent back to those of us who wrote to her several years later.

Kalindi requested that we take the letters we had written and bind them in a notebook. She said our letters would stand alone without any explanation needed. So many of those letters bear testimony to my devotion to Kalindi and the gratitude I have always felt to be one of her disciples.

Here is one of those letters.

 October 19, 1998

Dearest Kalindi La Gourasana,

I got some pretty outrageous messages today in my meditation time. One of them was to write a book about You. Anyway, we’ll see what Gourasana has in store.

I feel so connected, full of gratitude, longing and tons of love. It’s springtime in my heart, even as Winter approaches.

Sending You much love and prayers for breaking the people free.

Little Did I Know

. . . that fourteen years later, this premonition from my letter would come true.

In December 2012, I published A Mad Desire for God: My astounding journey with a Modern-Day Spiritual Master. 

My book is testimony to my love for Kalindi as my master and direct link to Lord Gourasana’s power and   special mercy. With Kalindi, everything was possible. I knew in every cell of my being that Kalindi was taking me Home, out of the realm of illusion and into the arms of the Lord. I am eternally grateful to Kalindi for her guidance all these years.

Her guidance keeps coming, even though she is no longer in a body. Her spirit remains alive and present every day of my life.
